Subject: Hoopla
If you like to hear Steve Kimock and his band, this may not be the show for you. Guests kinda take over and Steve, being the gentleman that he is, plays a supportive role. There is nothing here that is characteristic of the psychodelic wild-man and his tight jammin' band.

Subject: rapper?
I was at the show.
Killer first set! Second set started out good, but then they brought in a rapper??? Seriously???
Killed the entire vibe of the show imho...

Subject: intriguing diversity
An excellent recording of a great show. Steve Kimock's music has evolved into a brilliant amalgam of world music, jazz, funk and ofc psychedlia. Here in the company of some of the best musicians around. The always explorative Bernie Worrell, a master of the B-3 in the cosmic vein of Larry Young. The solid and inventive Andy Hess anchoring the rhythm together with James Ingram on the drums.

Guest Jason Crosby lets his violin dance across the music. And which Furthur fan does not take delight in hearing Sunshine sing some lead!
